Ventilation

This is a poem I wrote after I found out some things was not going so well in my life with the help of some terms I learned in my P101 class...lol

This is a ventilation of my situation, all this paper weight and time simulation Im facing is making me feel like Im a disgrace to my race.... not the color of my skin, but the competition that in is not giving me a situation of WIN... so when everything in my life is goin wrong, everything in school is goin right.....But when its starts to go wrong everything is goin right in my life...NO one said it would be a easy road, but there has to be some type of codes or cheat sheets I can see to defeat this harsh level of degree.... Sitting here in depression because my comfort zone is no where to be found but I smile in Reaction Formation to calm myself down. i don't wanna use projection towards it..but sometimes i don't care for it. Displacement is the only acceptable Rationalization to get rid of my depression and causes me to fall into Repression so I wont be all depressed over Regression...Its a life learned lesseon that Im expressing as freshmen so i take shots of this anti depressant and a puff of illegal possession to clear the mind of a young man because he stressin so wit no one to talk to and no one to listen he wraps it up in a rap and explains it in words he learned from the class lesson until someone will notice his complications and the obsticles that he's facing he has to put down the pen and realize there is not time for dream chasing......

Black Now???

I know I am a little bit late for black history month, but this is a poem that expresses my feelings about it.

Whats the definition of black history?
Is it recollections of misery? or a struggled peoples triumphant tendancies?
Doesn't make sense to me, cuz its gotten us no where
We just jock Dr.King for a month, and don't touch it again for the whole year.
Don't talk about racisim like it's a new thang,
Cuz it's still members of the Klan, and I aint talking bout wu-tang
We've made little progress, but we not quite there
Dr.King said he had a dream, well I'm still having nightmares
They still hanging bodies in the south, and that mess is scary
That's why I feel we shall overcome, but by any means neccesary
Cuz them racists don't fight fair
They said Mychal Bell assaulted someone with an all white pair of nike airs
thats proof right there, and I swear I was gon loose it
when Don Imus disrespected them girls and ya'll blamed it on rap music
Now I hope ya'll not that stupid,
To think he walk around in a du-rag, banging NWA, come on now thats foolish
Basically, we still got progress to make so
we need to stop living in the past, find our real problems and face those.

Astronomy

Music is the central body of a solar system... An infinite quantity of space, with notes and melodies as stars, and constellations as compositions. Artists are Astronomers, studying the skies day and night for stars that can make up a new, unique body of music. Instruments serve as telescopes, which help the astronomer find the perfect star needed for a constellation. Each genre acts as a separate entity in the solar system; planets if you will... The most talented of astronomers will at times venture to unfamiliar planets, to find a type of constellation they would never find on their home planet.(Lil Wayne lol) While the planets are scattered throughout the innumerable amount of space in the universe, every single one still revolves around the bright, vibrant, glowing sun of music.... The supreme being that is the very life source of everything in this unique solar system, giving its light to every organism in existence, including the overtly minuscule, and the extremely colossal. (Big words... Thesaurus.com...lol..CHEA!!)

So all in all....Music is great...and I love it......aw yea.........YAOWA lol

Miss Take

Mistakes.

Everyone makes them. No person can honestly say that they aren't guilty of them.

But what exactly are they??

In almost every scenario, a mistake is a shape shifter if anything else. Initially, a mistake is deemed an omen. This is to say that, upon a mistakes first exposure, or once one reaps the consequences of one, (depending on the situation) the said mistake is looked at as the worst thing that could possibly happen. Once this revelation occurs, the brain begins to process the theory that the worst thing that could possibly happen, happened, and the "OMG MY LIFE IS SO OVER!!" thoughts begin to crawl out of the woodworks. After these events transpire, and all consequences have been given, the "mistake" begins to evolve. All of a sudden, the mind has an epiphany. The key ingredient to any truly honest mistake is ignorance, and behind all ignorance lies innocence. This means that the main incentive, or driving force for one to make a mistake is the fact of not knowing. Not knowing that by executing a certain task, (whatever that task may be) one could possibly be hurting another. Then the "mistake" completes its final level of evolution. One realizes that they can not do what they did any more, for the sake of the never ending process of becoming a better person. This "mistake" emerges as a valuable lesson learned, taught only by time. I made several mistakes 1st semester. I just hope to learn from them, and strive towards the goal.... =)...aw yea...

YAOWA!!!!!!!!!!!! lol... (your always one world away)
